What is this “Lifestyle Blog” on a site dedicated to Interior Design and Real Estate?

To me, design and lifestyle are interwoven. Home design is a part of creating your living environment to meet the needs of your lifestyle. Whether your lifestyle includes the books you read, the foods you eat, the ways you entertain, or the places you travel it is all about the life you have designed for yourself. This blog is my way of sharing a little about the life I continue to curate for myself and my family, and to expand more on some of the projects, recipes, designs or experiences that may interest others.

What kind of dog do you have and what is her name?

Our Dog is named Lucy Chaos Pletta-Hodge, she is a Husky/Chow Chow mix and was a rescue dog who found her way into our lives and hearts in 2021. She does have her own Instagram ( @Loving_Life_With_Lucy ) but doesn’t post too often due to her lack of opposable thumbs. She was adopted through ADRI (The Abandoned Dogs Of Rhode Island https://www.facebook.com/abandoneddogs/ ) and we cannot say enough wonderful things about ADRI. We also got a great start with her transition to our home thanks to Jen with Training Tales ( https://trainingtailsri.com/ ) Just like with kids, it truly takes a village.
